Does anyone know the "blue song" or actual song that is featured in the new Fruit of the Loom commercial??? I have ben searching all day online and found NADA!

that song is made just for the commerical. but it is a parody of a coldplay song(s) yellow and I forgot what the other is.

I have DirecTV/Tivo, and there's a whole showcase on "Blue." There's a longer, two-minute version of the song, and a short "making-of" clip, which is interesting. The apple guy lip-synched to a backwards version of the song, and walked backwards while everyone else (the other fruit guys, people on bicycles, etc.) moved normally. Then the whole thing was played backward, so that the apple appeared to be the only guy moving normally.

After hearing the lyrics, it's obviously a take-off on Coldplay, although the first time I heard it I thought it was from the Travis record I don't have.

I emailed The Fruit Guys about their commercials and they emailed back:

Thank you for e-mail regarding our commecial and song "Blue:.
We appreciate your interest and we are working on developing a micro site that will allow consumers to view all of our commercials, and download a selection of our songs, including "Blue". We anticipate this site will be up and running within the next few weeks.

If you go to:

and click on:

LYRICS & MP3S in to top menu

then click on:

BLUE in the middle

then click on:

the iTunes MP3 icon at the bottom of the scroll bar window

you should be able to download a zip file called "fotl_blue.zip" which is the 2:29 minute version of the song...

Or you could just download it directly from here:

http://www.fruitguyfans.com/music/fotl_blue.zip

because sites that only use Flash are impossible to link to, which seems to run counter to what the advertisor wants. :eek:k:
